なお、日本人の著者が書いた入門用のテキストとしておすすめなのは『基礎から学ぶ生物学・細胞生物学』です。
英語に自信があったり、大学院に進学する予定の方は、英語版に挑戦してみるのをおすすめします。たしかに専門用語はありますが、平易な英語で書かれているのでわかりやすい文章です。修士に進んで英語の論文を読み書きするならば、これくらいは身につけておきたいというレベルの英語のテキストです。
